High in the mountains, deep in the forest, on the sunny side of a shady cove, two ancient trees stand side by side.
Their story started long ago when a squirrel buried an acorn. Winter rain soaked the earth until, early in the spring, a tiny seedling emerged. With bright skies overhead, Oak felt he’d found the perfect home.

A couple of years ago I spent quite a lot of time sitting in the woods healing. It was there I noticed these two trees who had spent years growing around each other in a slow motion race for the sun. At that time in my life, a time with way too much drama, it helped to see how the trees handled life. Quietly, calmly, without drama. The simply did what they were meant to do. Beautifully. And by doing their thing they worked together and created whole worlds within their branches.
