When I started this journey towards publication of my Picture Books I wanted to illustrate them as well as write them. So I did the illustrations for several. And I realized something:
When I needed to change an illustration it frustrated me. When I need to change the writing it excites me.
So, with that in mind, I am focusing on my writing. I may come back to illustrating at some point. But I think my stories would be better served by someone who gets as excited at the prospect of getting to create another picture as I do at the prospect of getting to create a better story.
