This story came about when my granddaughter, who is just starting to talk, fell in love with "kinis". Any kind of squash is a "kini" to her and picking them in the garden became one of the things we did on our Fridays together. (No, she doesn't eat them, but she likes to carry them around, take baths with them, wrap them in blankies.... maybe someday she will actually want to taste one.) I love creating memories with her and this is the story that came out of our time together this summer.
