Fear of the dark. The shadows, the creaks and groans, the certainty that there IS SOMETHING UNDER THE BED!

The dusk settles, the day ends
As a reluctant child leaves his friends.
The colors fade, the shapes blur
As sparrows quiet and bats stir.
The light dims, the shadows deepen
As the day ends and Goblins creep in.

So much fear is of the unknown. Once the sun sets, the familiar becomes unknown, dark, dangerous. But what if we looked at it with fearless eyes? Wouldn't we see it is the same as the daylight world, but with it's own beauties and wonders? This story is my attempt at showing the night as a beautiful place, not a scary one. And Goblins? Maybe they aren't scary either once we get to know them.
